FEEDING INSTRUCTIONS
Milk Replacer for Newborns
Mixing: Mix with warm (100° - 105°F) water a rate of 1 tbsp of powder to 2 tbsp of water. Refrigerate unused solution promptly. Discard any unused solution after 24 hours.
Feeding: This product is intended for supplemental or intermittent feeding only. When possible, the kitten should nurse from the mother for a minimum of 2 days following birth. Small breed kittens should be fed every 3-4 hours. Large breed kittens should be fed every 6-8 hours. Feed solution at or near body temperature (100° - 105° F) at a rate of 2 tbsp (1 oz) of solution per 4 oz of body weight per day. The daily feeding amount should be divided evenly among the feedings.
Pregant and Lactating Mother's
Mix Kitten Nurse powder into daily food at the rate of 2 tsp per 5 lb body weight until 2 weeks after whelping.
For Show Cats
Kitten Nurse features special blended oils for coat conditioning. Sprinkle on dry food at a rate of 1 tsp per 5 lb of body weight up to twice a day.
Reward Milk Treat
Simply mix Kitten Nurse with water and feed in a bowl, or pour into dry food to make a nutritious gravy. Mix at a rate of 1 tbsp powder to 2 tbsp of water. Feed at a rate of 1/2 oz of solution per 5lb of body weight up to twice a day.
Flavor Enhancer
Sprinkle a small amount of Kitten Nurse over your pet's food to enhance the flavor. Great as a reaward!
REMINDER: Feed is perishable. Store this product in a cool dry area away from insects and rodents.
