Directions For Use:
Round-Up is designed to be a complete and balanced diet for mature horses that are engaged in exercise on an occasional basis. Round-Up can also be used to extend available hay or pasture when these forage sources are in short supply due to reduced availability or environmental conditions. Feed Round-Up at a rate necessary to maintain the horse’s desired body condition and energy level along with free-choice access to salt and water. While Round-Up can be fed to horses as a sole ration without any hay or pasture, Manna Pro® recommends that hay and/or pasture be provided at a rate equal to or greater than 0.5% of the horse’s body weight. This will ensure that the horse receives an adequate amount of bulk to maintain the health and function of their digestive tract. For most horses, use 12–15 lbs of Round-Up® per day as a starting guideline.
Change to this feed from other equine products gradually over a 5- to 7-day period. Do not overfeed or offer this product on a free-choice basis. Divide the grain ration into two or more feedings per day. Do not feed more than 0.5% of the horse’s body weight in grain at any one time. Maintain a regular feeding schedule. Provide fresh, clean water, plain salt and adequate forage at all times. Do not allow hot, exercised horses free-choice access to water until they have cooled down.
Reminder: Feed is perishable. Store this product in a cool, dry area away from rodents and insects.
Warning: DO NOT offer any feed that is spoiled, moldy, rodent or insect infested, or abnormal in appearance or odor, as it may cause illness or death. This product contains supplemental copper. DO NOT feed to sheep or other copper-sensitive species.
