Whenever possible, provide the lamb with at least one feeding of colostrum from the ewe.  If the ewe cannot provide colostrum, use Manna Pro Colostrum Supplement.

Provide a warm enclosed area for lambs separated from ewes.

Feed milk replacer from a SUCKLE bottle using a lamb nipple.

Starting the 2nd week feed lamb starter free choice.  Sprinkle dry Lamb Milk Replacer over lamb starter to get lambs nibbling on starter feed.

Dry feed intake is the best indicator of the appropriate time to wean.  Lambs may be weaned when feed intake is greater than 0.5 pounds per day of lamb starter.  At weaning, lambs will be at least 30 days old and weigh 25 pounds or more.

*The enclosed scoop holds about 1 ounce of milk replacer powder by weight.
