How to submit coupons to CMS

CMS represents various manufacturers in the redemption of coupons. Coupons can be submitted directly to the manufacturer’s address indicated on the coupon or indirectly through a retail clearinghouse.  If you choose to submit directly, please follow the guidelines listed below:

1. Each manufacturer’s coupons must be submitted separately with an invoice including:

• Name of store
• Mailing address (physical address preferred)
• Manufacturer name
• Date
• Invoice # (a number to be determined by person submitting coupons)
• Number of coupons
• Handling ($.08 per coupon)
• Postage
• Total dollar amount (including handling and postage)
• CMS suggests that you keep a copy of each invoice.

2. Check the coupons to see if there are any special instructions for redemption. For example, free value coupons need to have the value of the item you gave away written on the coupon.

3. Mail coupon submissions to this address:

4. Place coupons in a strong envelope or box and seal securely.

5. Postage reimbursement is based on individual manufacturers’ policies.

6. Notify CMS if there is a change in the status of your store. Call 1-800-285-7602 if your store has closed and you are mailing your last coupon submission, if your store is under new ownership or if you have a new address. Depending on the type of change, it may be necessary to complete a new CMS questionnaire.
