Mix 2 enclosed scoops* of Kid Colostrum Supplement Powder into 1 cup of warm water. Bottle-feed ¼ to ½ cups of solution every 4 hours for the first 24 hours of life. For Pygmy Goats, feed about half of this amount every 3 to 4 hours for the first 24 hours of life. For Kids that have nursed the Dam, feed every 6 hours. For Pygmy Kids that have nursed, feed every 4 to 6 hours.
When mixing, add powder to warm water (100°-160° F) and mix thoroughly with a wire whisk until completely dissolved. Feed the Kid Colostrum solution at or near body temperature (90°-100° F). Refrigerate unused solution promptly. Reheat gently over warm water and stir well before feeding. Do not microwave or freeze the solution. Discard refrigerated solution after 24 hours. Store dry Kid Colostrum Supplement Powder in a tightly closed container in a cool, dry place.
