Mixing Directions

The enclosed measuring cup holds approximately 4 ounces (113 grams) of dry milk replacer powder by weight. Mix ½ enclosed cup (2 oz) of dry milk replacer powder into 1 ¼ cups (10 fluid ounces) of warm water (120-125° F).  Cool the milk replacer to 100-105° F before feeding.

Storage

Refrigerate unused milk replacer solution promptly.  Reheat the solution gently over warm water and mix thoroughly before feeding.  Do not microwave or freeze.  Discard refrigerated milk replacer solution after 24 hours.  Store dry milk replacer powder in a tightly closed container in a cool, dry place.

Colostrum

Feed colostrum from the mother for the first 3 days of life to provide critical nutrients and maternal antibodies.  If the mother’s colostrum is not available, Manna Pro® Colostrum Supplement may be substituted.
