Country Cousin Maintenance Dog Food is
formulated to meet the nutritional levels established by the Association of
American Feed Control Officials (A.A.F.C.O.) Dog Food Nutrient Profile for all
life stages.

Country Cousin Maintenance Dog
Food may be fed straight from the bag or moistened with water, for variety.
If moistened, mix 6 parts dog food to one part warm water and serve. If fed
moistened, do not serve more than what the dog will eat in a thirty-minute period
to ensure product freshness.
A dog should be maintained in good body condition
and not allowed to become overweight. The food intake required to maintain good
body condition will vary depending on age, activity level, environment and other
factors. Consequently, the food requirement for each dog will vary, and should
be adjusted accordingly. Use the standard chart below as a guide. For most normally
active adult dogs, once a day feeding is usually sufficient.
Because of the results of the extensive testing
conducted on Country Cousin Maintenance Dog Food, you can be
assured that you are feeding a quality, nutritionally balanced food for maintenance
of adult dogs. However, this product is not recommended to be fed as the sole
ration to growing puppies, very active, hard working dogs, pregnant or lactating
females. These types of dogs have special nutritional needs and require a different
balance of protein, calories, and other nutrients.
